    1. Click on SIGN UP and fill out the required fields
    2. Click OK to confirm and you’ll receive an email
    3. Click on the link in the email to confirm your address
    4. You will then receive an SMS message to your phone containing a PIN
    5. Switch back to web browser and enter PIN in the online registration window

        The third way is to use your smartphone in-store to scan a QR code on your purchase receipt or invoice, and you're done.

      • What are IBAN and BIC? And where do I find them?

        IBAN is a standardised format of account number used for international transfers. A BIC is one of the most common forms of bank code used to identify individual banks; it is the same thing as a SWIFT code/address, and the two terms are interchangeable.

        A BIC will have either 8 or 11 digits, depending on the bank to which you are sending the IMT. Your bank will provide you with your IBAN and BIC. A lot of banks also provide an online IBAN and BIC calculator.

        To connect your mobile device, smartphone or tablet with your Yapital account via QR code, log into your account, click on "Devices" in the Account menu, then click on "Profile" and scan the QR code... you're connected!  Just create a super-secret four-digit PIN, and you're good to go!

         

         

        2. Connect by email and password

        To connect your mobile device, smartphone or tablet with your Yapital account head over to www.yapital.com, enter your email and password, create a super-secret four-digit PIN, and you're good to go!

      • What happens if I forget my password?

         

        Relax, we will help you reset it :-)

        Simply click on "Forgotten Password" and follow the instructions. We will immediately send you an email with a temporary code and a link to complete resetting your password.  Open the email, click on the link, enter the code in the secure browser, and you can create a new password! Look out for one more email with a confirmation, and you're done!

      • Is it possible to withdraw money back into my bank account?

         

        Of course! You can redeem the balance of the funds in your Yapital account at any time and at face value. Please be aware that you can only redeem your Yapital account balance into a bank account we have verified as belonging to you.

         

      • Can I connect more than one mobile to my account?

        Yes, and it's as easy as when you connected your first device. Simply log in to your Yapital account, go to "Profile" and "Mobile Devices", and add your mobile by scanning the QR code. If you're ever in doubt about the ownership of one of the connected devices, for your own security please delete/disconnect the device immediately.       • Where can I pay with Yapital?

        Yapital is starting out with Otto Group merchants like SportScheck, Baur and Arqueonautas. With more and more merchants following soon, there'll be more and more places to use Yapital! When you order in these online shops you will be able to pay with Yapital either by scanning a QR code or by entering your Yapital credentials at the online checkout. In addition, some merchants will print a Yapital QR code on their invoices, so you can pay by scanning the QR code with your Yapital mobile app.

        Additionally you can pay with your Yapital MasterCard everywhere MasterCard is accepted!

      • I couldn't pay with my Yapital account. What's wrong?

        Here's the fastest way: Open your Yapital account - your balance is always in the upper right and provided in real time. If you don't have sufficient funds, the transaction might not be processed properly. If you are low on funds, simply go to the "Fund" button and add whatever you need to your Yapital account. Your funds will be there really fast, so you can complete your purchase momentarily.
         

        By the way, if you just registered for a Yapital account, welcome, and thank you! Since we need to verify your funding source, there may be a limit; once it's been verified, we'll authorize your Yapital account to a higher limit! If you still have questions we are here to help.       • How do I fund my Yapital account?

        Funding your Yapital account is easy. Just go to the funding tab, choose a Funding Source and tell us how much you want to fund. You can even add a note to remind you what it was for... like "My vacation to the Maldives". If you need help on funding, call us at 00800-927 927 10 (free of charge).

      • Do I have to fund my account in order to use Yapital?

        To take advantage of the many benefits Yapital offers, we recommend you add a funding source to your Yapital account. Just add your bank account and let the funding begin, online or with your Yapital app.

      • Which Funding Sources are accepted?

        Your Yapital account accepts your bank account as a Funding Source. You'll need IBAN and BIC to add a bank account - if you don’t have that information to hand, your bank will be happy to provide you with it.

      • Does it cost money to fund my account?

        Funding your Yapital account with your bank account is free, so fund as many times as you want, it's a FREEdom to fund philosophy here at Yapital, always.  

      • Can I send money to friends and relatives with Yapital?

        Yes you can send money to anyone registrerd with Yapital, we are working hard to make it possible to send money to anyone who doesn´t have a Yapital account...so stay tuned and even better yet get your friends & Family to get a Yapital account.

      • How quickly is money transferred?

        Money is transferred instantly! Just like paying with cash but safer and simpler. You can watch the money transfer by opening up the app and looking in the upper right corner.

      • What do I have to do to receive money in my Yapital account?

        When someone sends you money, you have two options to accept the transaction.

        1. You will immediately receive an email. Click on the link in the email, log in to your Yapital account, and accept the money.

        2. You will immediately see the incoming payment under "Transactions" in your Yapital account. Just click on the "Accept" link and the money will be moved into your Yapital account instantly.

         

        The great thing is that you can also accept money the same way on your mobile, with your Yapital mobile app!

      • How much time do I have to accept the money someone has sent me?

        Lucky you! When someone sends you money, you have 10 days in which to accept it. After the first notice, we'll send you two reminder emails. After 10 days, we'll transfer the money back to the person who sent it.

        At Yapital, your safety comes first. To prevent and protect you from fraud, anti money-laundering rules and regulations mean that when you first register, your Yapital account will be limited.       • How do I get the Yapital MasterCard?

        Once you have registered for a Yapital account and funded for the first time, we will automatically send you your Yapital MasterCard free of charge.

      • How do I activate my Yapital MasterCard?

        We will send your Yapital MasterCard to the verified address that you have registered with us, and ask you to activate it on our website. To do so, you'll need to log in to our secure site and insert the last four digits of your Yapital MasterCard.

      • Where can I pay with my Yapital MasterCard?

        With your Yapital MasterCard you can pay everywhere MasterCard is accepted. 

        Unfortunately you cannot use your Yapital MasterCard to withdraw money from an ATM, nor for gambling or adult entertainment.

      • Where can I see my Yapital MasterCard transactions?

        To view all the payments you've made with your Yapital MasterCard, please log in to your Yapital account and click on “Transactions”.

      • How can I pay with my Yapital mobile app?

        Our favorite question! It's simple. With your Yapital mobile app just scan the QR code printed on your invoice or displayed on the checkout computer screen, and click "Confirm". When the scan is successful you will see a message appear and hear a confirmation sound, and we will email you a purchase receipt for your records.

      • I couldn't pay with my Yapital mobile app. What's wrong?

        Sorry to hear that. It may be one of the following:

         

        1. This merchant may not take Yapital. If so, let us know and we will try to get them on board for next time!

        2. Your mobile phone may not be connected to your Yapital account.

        3. You may need to top up the balance on your Yapital account.

        4. Your QR code scanner may be in the wrong position. Please line up the box with the QR code and give it another try. When the scan is successful you will hear a confirmation sound and see a message on your screen. (Maybe you were checking out your purchase when the payment took place? Please double-check to see if the payment was processed.)
